La gamme Edifice est l'une des collections de montres Casio les plus vendues. Cette gamme englobe les dernières technologies et l'inspiration du design de la course automobile. Tous sont des chronographes à quartz, mais il existe une gamme standard, solaire et de liaison pour smartphone.
Mon préféré est définitivement la gamme Honda Racing et Scuderia Toro Rosso en édition limitée. Mon seul reproche avec Casio Edifice est la taille du boîtier. Tous leurs modèles sont assez volumineux, vous allez donc adorer ou détester.

La gamme Seiko Recraft est une gamme rétro moderne inspirée des années 70. Le SSC667 et SSC669 sont exactement cela, un authentique chronographe des années 70. Il est rare que cette montre soit livrée sur un bracelet Nato de l'usine.
Le mouvement est un chronographe solaire à quartz. Mais une chose intéressante à noter est que la trotteuse balaie en fait comme une montre automatique au lieu de tic-tac.

Comme Omalogato, la marque Autodromo est également dédiée à l'amour de l'automobile. La marque Autodromo est fondée par Bradley Prince, qui vient également d'une formation en design industriel.
Le chronographe Ford GT d'Autodromo est vraiment spectaculaire. Certina is a lesser know Swiss brand that’s even older than Rolex. It was founded in 1888 by the brothers Adolf and Alfred Kurth. Certina’s latest Sports collection has watches that embodies what chronograph should be all about.The watches in this collection has a different range of formality to it. You can have it subtle or have it in loud yellow colour. Most of the models use Quartz movement but we do get two automatic options.

Victorinox is a Swiss brand that originated in 1884 and quickly became expert in knife making, especially pocket knives. They transfer this metallurgical skill to watchmaking by manufacturing tough, high quality watches.
It’s available in 5 different styles but I really love the grey colour case with a rubber strap. It’s powered by a Quartz movement and comes in 44mm case size.
Established in 1892, Hamilton is also a purebred watch brand whose roots lies in USA. Hamilton made its name by supplying timepieces to US railroad when crucial infrastructure was getting built.
The Pan Europ line is a reiteration of the 70s Pan-Europ. Its 42mm case size is just about right to cater to a larger audience. Hamilton Pan-Europ uses H 30 automatic movement with day/date complications. Unlike all watches in this list, you don’t get a chronograph option with this one.

Christopher Ward is a relatively new British watch brand. It was only in 2005 when they launched their first watch. This brand aims to offer Swiss watch quality at a fractional price.
The C7 Rapide Chronograph is a good testament to this. Before Omalogato or Autodromo came along, this was the watch that spoke directly to the motorsport enthusiasts. This chronograph gets a Swiss-made Ronda 5021.D Quartz movement.

This is a classic chronograph watch that’s built to perform. The dial markings are big and clear. The watch comes on a hand-stitched leather strap that completes the look.
Seiko has lots of chronograph watches but this particular model is my personal favourite. It has all the elements to be a perfect racing watch.
